How to edit PDF text

Open a PDF.
Click text on the PDF and type directly in its position. Press Enter or click outside to save; press Escape to cancel.
Review the preview and download the edited PDF.

Existing text is removed and the replacement is written as searchable text. Images and vector graphics are preserved. New characters may use a different font; exact font matching is not always possible.

Scanned pages need OCR before their text can be edited. Vertical, angled, and right-to-left text are not supported. Changing PDFs invalidates digital signatures.
